The wisdom of our heart

Sometimes our heart doesn’t shout — it whispers the truth we don’t want to hear. Sometimes we desire what isn’t ours, jealous of what others have, not realizing we carry a treasure within ourselves. 

The different light we despise in ourselves, we celebrate in others. Sometimes our tears hurt, our hopes show us the way to go, and our inner star reveals what we’ve always known — that by listening to others, we lose ourselves; that what is true within us, we easily surrender to be lost in a world of lies and pretending.

Once we discover the truth, we no longer let it drown in a sea of lies. When we discover our destiny, the path we walk from that moment on illuminates who we truly are.

 We are beings of light. 

The integrity with which we move through life is our guiding star.

We try to experiment. We try to explore, but we always return to the beginning — to when we blindly believed in our gifts… when we simply created without pressure. When words flew from us onto the paper, when the only thing that mattered was this — to express ourselves, to find where our integrity hides. We trust the voice that awakens us, that tells us which path to take, what to choose, what to be.

 That is our voice.

What we find is ours. The doors we are meant to pass through open effortlessly, because they are our doors. The doors we try to open forcefully were never ours to begin with.

We desperately want to be like others, to have their gifts — not our own.

Therein lies the secret. Forgetting everything else, we are left alone with the truth. 

What comes to us naturally is our gift from God.

 We do not force — we simply are. 

That is where we find ourselves. 

That is where we are. 

That is our home.
